Visiting Miss South Carolina Pageant ContestantsJun 10th, 2009On June 30th between 12:30pm and 5:00pm Miss South Carolina Pageant Contestants will be visiting the Landrum area with their friends and families. You will see them downtown in their white t-shirts with pink writing. The Miss South Carolina and local pageants across our State make available over $10 million dollars in cash and tuition scholarships annually, making South Carolina #1 in the Miss America Organization's Scholarship Program. Each year, tens of thousands of Miss America volunteers generate more than 500,000 hours of service to over 12,000 community service projects making Miss America one of the strongest service organizations in the country. So come on out and welcome these fine young ladies to our community.
